The board of the SUB is a joint committee of the Associated Students of the University of New Mexico (ASUNM), the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), the Faculty Senate, Alumni Association, and the University of New Mexico administration.
Function
The primary function of the board is to help formulate policy for the operation of the SUB. The board is responsible for the following:

Reviewing and approving the schedule of charges prepared by the director of the SUB for use of its facilities.

Establishing the policy’s for use of the facilities

Review the annual budget
-
Keep track of financial operations and maintain the records for future members
-
Promote student involvement in the activities and operations of the SUB
-
Review departmental procedures
Members
The board is comprised primarily of student members to include:

The ASUNM President or designee
-
GPSA President or designee
-
One student senator
-
Two graduate and two undergraduate at-large student members
-
Two faculty members
-
An Alumnus or Alumna
-
The President of the University of New Mexico or Designee

The Dean of Students or Designee

The Director of the SUB (Non-voting member)
